We're a pipeline, not a data warehouse
fwd it. is built to move your receipts, not hoard them. We never store your receipts. When you forward a receipt email to us, we read it, extract the details, and hand everything off to your own Google account — then we're done with it.
Your receipt data goes to your Google account
All receipt data — the original files and the extracted details — goes directly to your Google Drive and Google Sheets. It lives in your account, under your control. It is never copied to a database we own.
What we actually store
The only information we keep is:
- Your email address
- Your unique fwdit.to forwarding address
- Your Stripe subscription status
That's it. No receipts, no documents, no card details.
Google access
We use Google OAuth only to write files to your Drive and create rows in your Sheets. We request the minimum access needed to do that. We cannot read your existing files, emails, or other documents.
Payments
We use Stripe for payment processing. Your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them. We only receive your subscription status (active, canceled, etc.) from Stripe.
Email we send you
We may send transactional emails — signup confirmation and alerts to reconnect your Google account if access expires. We do not send marketing emails.
Canceling and deleting your data
You can cancel anytime. To delete the data we store, email us at hello@fwdit.to and we'll remove your record. Your receipts already live in your own Google account and remain yours.
